ich möchte Sie auf diesem Wege auf zwei GESIS-Workshops (in englischer Sprache) 
zu den Themen Forschungsdatenmanagement für Sozialwissenschaftler/innen sowie 
Einführung in die digitale Langzeitarchivierung aufmerksam machen:

+++Registration is now open for two training courses the GESIS Archive and Data 
Management Training Center is holding in Cologne, Germany.+++

1) First steps towards digital preservation: October 23 (1pm) - October 25 
(1pm), 2013 
The workshop is intended as a primer in digital preservation. It introduces 
central concepts of digital preservation, providing participants with a common 
terminology to understand an (idealized) preservation and dissemination 
workflow.

2) Introduction to Research Data Management for Social Scientists November: 6 
(2pm) - November 8 (1pm), 2013 
Designed to address the needs of social science researchers, this course 
discusses ways to maintain the security and integrity of research data for 
re-use and long-term preservation.
