Dear colleagues,
It is our pleasure to invite you to the next Library Science Talk:
Prof Ina Blümel, PhD (German National Library of Science and Technology (TIB) /
University of Applied Sciences and Arts Hanover) will talk about "The architect
in the library lab".
Abstract:
How can architecture and librarianship benefit from each other? This talk will
use some examples from the TIB - Leibniz Information Centre for Science and
Technology and University Library, in particular the TIB Open Science Lab, to
present the issues involved and the conditions under which this can work. The
focus is on how architectural content can be disseminated into the broader
society by libraries and how the in improvement of this content can be
collaboratively facilitated, as well as what research infrastructures in
general can do for architecture as a discipline and for architects as
(research) individuals.
The talk will take place on Monday, 15 November at 17:15 in English.
