Liebe Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer auf dieser Verteilerliste,
wir laden Sie herzlich dazu ein Ihre Fragen an die Editor*innen der Zeitschrift
"European Journal of Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics" zu stellen. Das
Webinar richtet sich an Nachwuchsforscher*innen, Erstautor*innen und
Autor*innen und wird in englischer Sprache geführt und ist kostenfrei!
Academic writing and publishing is at the core of every researcher's and
author's work. What do you need to know and what do journal editors look out
for in a paper?
The webinar is for young researchers, first-time authors and writers. It is
held in English and is free of charge!
We invite you to ask your questions to the editors of the "European Journal of
Pharmaceutics and Biopharmaceutics". Editor-in-Chief, Achim Goepferich, is
Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the Faculty of Chemistry and Pharmacy
at the University of Regensburg and heads the group for "Pharmaceutical
Technology". He has been working as an editor for 15 years.
Assistant Editor, Miriam Breunig, is Senior Scientist at the Department of
Pharmaceutical Technology at the University of Regensburg and her research
focus is on the administration of small and large molecules of active
substances for the treatment of eye diseases.
In this webinar, our editors will cover the following topics:
- What is the difference between a publisher and an editor?
- How to become an editor?
- What happens after a manuscript has been submitted?
- How do you ensure that your work represents current research?
- What is important when publishing?
- How should authors react to editor/ reviewer comments during the peer review
process?
- How are reviewers selected for peer review?
You can also ask your questions directly to our editors in the Q&A.
