Liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen,
wir freuen uns, die diesjährige IIIF Jahreskonferenz vom 24.-28. Juni in
Göttingen auszurichten und wünschen uns natürlich auch rege und aktive
Beteiligung aus dem deutschsprachigen Raum - siehe nachfolgenden CfP,
Informationen zu Programm und Registrierung folgen.

The 2019 IIIF Annual Conference will be held in Göttingen, Germany between the
24th to 28th of June. The conference is hosted by the University of Göttingen /
Göttingen State and University Library. The outline for the conference is below:
Monday June 24th - IIIF Showcase
Tuesday June 25th - Workshops and working meetings
Wednesday June 26th - IIIF Conference plenary
Thursday June 27th and Friday AM June 28th - IIIF Conference parallel sessions

The Göttingen Planning committee are looking for proposals for talks in the
following forms:
* Up to a ½ day workshop
* 7 to 10 minute lightning talks
* 20 minute presentations (plus 10 mins questions)
* 90 minute open block (Could be panel session or grouped presentations)
Please submit an abstract of no longer than 500 words for your presentation or
discussion by Friday the 1st of March using the conference tool:

Final versions of the accepted abstracts will be made available on the
conference website and presentations are to be uploaded to google drive.
We encourage showcasing developments in IIIF and in particular would welcome
presentations in the following areas:
* Annotation, including full-text or academic use cases
* Using IIIF material for Machine Learning and AI
* Discovering IIIF resources
* Audio/Visual use cases for IIIF
* Linked Open "Usable" Data (LOUD) and IIIF
* IIIF Implementation Spectrum: large-scale or small-scale projects
* Interoperability in IIIF contexts
* Implementations of IIIF outside of North America/Europe
* IIIF communities (archives, museums, manuscripts, newspapers, etc.)
