Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, Dear Colleagues,
We cordially invite you to the following event:
Designing a Successful KM Strategy for Librarians and Information Professionals
Knowledge management (KM) has to be seen within the context of business
strategy and business need. It is not an end itself, but a tool to deliver
better business performance, and this view is crucial to developing and
crafting an effective KM strategy.
This session covers the role that librarians and information professionals play
in creating a strategy to give direction to a KM program within their
organization. Recognizing business drivers, clarifying strategic knowledge
areas for the organization, and finding and defining key stakeholders who need
to be involved, these are all activities that the KM responsible person must
address.
Talk and workshop take place on Thursday, 02 July 2015 at 6 pm at the Institut
für Bibliotheks- und Informationswissenschaft (IBI), Humboldt-Universität,
Dorotheenstr. 26, 10117 Berlin-Mitte, (near S + U Friedrichstraße) in Room 19
(ground floor).
