Karen
Bordonaro: Internationalization and the North American University
Library, 2013).
INVITATION TO PARTICIPATE IN A STUDY
You are invited to participate in a study on German university libraries
and internationalization. You are under absolutely no obligation to
participate. Should you choose to participate, however, you would be
helping librarians throughout the world better understand what role
university libraries in Germany may play in internationalization. You
would also be helping to explore what the idea of internationalization
may mean to German academic librarians.
Your potential involvement would take approximately 20-30 minutes. It
would involve filling out a short online questionnaire consisting of 10
total questions (some multiple choice and some open-ended). Your answers
will be anonymous. No identifying personal information will be
collected or retained. You do not have to answer any question that you
do not want to answer. You may withdraw at any time. Please be aware,
however, that it is not possible to retrieve or change your responses
upon completing and exiting the survey.
This study has been reviewed and received ethics clearance through Brock
University’s Research Ethics Board (file # 13-298-BORDONARO). No
company or agency is sponsoring this research. If you have any
pertinent questions about your rights as a research participant, please
contact the Brock University Research Ethics Officer (905 688-5550 ext.
3035, reb@xxxxxxxxx). If you have any further questions, please feel
free to contact the principal investigator Karen Bordonaro, Liaison
Librarian, Brock University, Canada, kbordonaro@xxxxxxxxx).
Thank you very much for your time and your consideration.
CONSENT FORM
I agree to participate in the study described above. I understand that I
have the opportunity to receive additional details about this study by
