In the context of this year's LIBER Annual Conference in Riga, Latvia, the 
NEREUS network is organizing an Open 
Workshop<http://liber2014.wp.lnb.lv/programme/open-workshops/> on the topic of
"Success factors of institutional Open Access Policies - Which role(s) for 
libraries?"

We will address issues like:

·         How successful are existing Open Access policies in European 
Universities and Research Institutions?

·         Which roles can libraries play here from advocacy and infrastructure 
to monitoring?

·         What are the pros and cons of voluntary or mandatory policies?


The workshop will take place on 01.07. from 14:00-18:00 at the National Library 
of Riga.
It is free and open to everybody - but registration is required because of 
limited space!
