[InetBib] Elsevier zieht Unterstützung für U.S.-Gesetzesinitiative gegen Open Access Mandate zurück

Liebe Liste,

ausgerechnet Elsevier zieht seine Unterstützung für den U.S. Research Act 
zurück. Diese umstrittene Gesetzesinitiative würde - wenn umgesetzt -  Open 
Access-Mandate für staatlich geförderte Forschungspublikationen und damit u.a. 
die Public Access Policy der National Institutes of Health (NIH) verbieten.

SEC. 2. LIMITATION ON FEDERAL AGENCY ACTION.

No Federal agency may adopt, implement, maintain, continue, or otherwise engage 
in any policy, program, or other activity that--
