Web and Information Systems Developer (f/m) (PHP, Perl, Python, Ruby, shell 
scripting, SQL, Typo3, Java, CSS)

IST Austria is searching a developer with a good system administration 
background.


Your Tasks:
===========

- Installation and configuration of web based software packages

- Adapting, integrating and enhancining these packages and developing new 
functionality

- Implementation of new innovative information services

- Technical Support for the Institute website, intranet, social media and
 other information and communication services

- Software development for library technologies

- Cooperate with the persons responsible for public and media relations
 library and information systems, and web content management


Required Qualifications:
========================

- practical experience with the administration of apache, mysql and postgres 
 on linux servers

- programming skills, preferable in various of the above mentioned languages
 and technologies

- work experience in a scientific research institution or library is 
advantageous

- very good communication skills in English

- a high degree of flexibility and dependability

- team player and service-oriented
