Dear colleagues, 

we are happy to announce, that the first joint DPE/Planets/nestor training
event - 

'Principles of Digital Preservation: a hands-on approach'
will take place in Vilnius Lithuania 1 - 5 October 2007

This training course will introduce participants to a number of key digital
preservation principles and provide them with an opportunity to apply this
knowledge through a number of hands-on exercises.

This event is being held in cooperation with the international conference
"Communication of memory in archives, museums and libraries: the interaction
