Mir ist vor Jahren einmal eine Variante dieses Spruches
untergekommen, die eigentlich sehr praezise ein Hauptoblem des
Informationszeitalters  umschreibt:

Where ist the wisdom, 
that has been lost in knowledge ?

Where is the knowledge, 
that has been lost in information?

And where is the information,
that has been lost in database systems
