MS Internet Explorer 3.01b
Hallo allerseits!
Ulrich Babiaks Worte zum Microsoft Internet Explorer (auf der
Inetbib-Tagung in Potsdam) noch im Ohr fand ich gerade folgende Nachricht
von Rechenzentrum der Uni Stuttgart vor.
Ich kenne den Internet Explorer selbst nicht weiter und weiss auch nichts
von eventuell frueher mal bekannt gewordenen Sicherheitsproblemen damit,
daher kann ich selbst nicht viel dazu sagen.
Aber vielleicht interessiert's den einen oder anderen ja.

persoenliche anmerkung dazu: den satz 'Security is of the highest importance
to Microsoft, and we are doing [...]' wuerde ich lediglich als quelle der
erheiterung ansehen, wir raten weiterhin vom Internet Explorer ab.
wer ihn trotzdem einsetzten will/muss, sollte auf jeden fall upgraden,
sonst erlaubt er z.zt. jedem WWW-anbieter mehr oder weniger vollen
zugriff auf seinen PC.
